As part of our services, Buehrer Group transformed an existing vacant tenant space into the new Maxx Fitness Clubzz Maumee. Maxx Fitness Clubzz brings a new level of value and convenience when it comes to fitness centers and offers a combination of high-quality classes with everyday amenities.
To start, we worked to refine the building program protype with the owner who was based out of Connecticut. Our services included completing all construction documents including MEP and Structural, coordinating drawing reviews with the landlord, assisting the owner through the biding process, helping the owner with drawing submission to local building departments, value engineering the project during construction to cut costs, and helping the owner coordinate finishes.
The final design included a large open strength and free weight space with reception area, a separate cycling area, both individual and group fitness rooms, and men’s and women’s lockers rooms including restroom and shower amenities. To finish the space and offer additional services to their clients, a cinema room, tanning rooms, smoothie bar and kids club area were added.
